The Gulf Coast Oil Spill

I just returned from the Gulf Coast...we have two condos in Biloxi....one is up for grabs...interested?

In anycase, I expected to see a black ocean and tar covered beach. The sun was shining, the beach was clean and the water clear and glistening. There may be trouble in the gulf but you cant see it from the shore...yet.

Who knows...its like a hurricane...if the wind shifts...the damage goes to Florida, the hit was in LA....but there are cautions. The fisherman/shrimper (shrimping season - mid June) are still out from what I hear, but there are areas that are closed and getting bigger by the day. This certainly will affect prices ...fish, oil, and maybe other things. I also heard that there is a 50% decrease in hotel reservations so far...people are canceling vacations, fishing, etc. I think many outsiders...expect what I expected...a beach disaster...but the beaches are nice for now (as nice as Biloxi beaches can get).

The thing that is disturbing is the panic....every other commercial is an ad for a sleazy lawyer advertising law suits for damage from the oil spill...the paper too. Shame on you all. Yes...I feel compensation for lost (Legitimate claims) is a good thing...but not this wild panic...
BP is not going to loose too much money...but there will be repercussions. Do you think the big guys are going to take a cut...not in our lives. This is just a great excuse to artificially inflate prices again.

The other disturbing truth is the 160 dead sea turtles washed up in Gulf Port...they now claim that the oil didnt kill them...it was the chemicals that they put in the ocean to disperse the oil.
What is worse the cause or the cure?

Now I am not an expert on this stuff or even can say that I have spent hours doing research...however, I listen, watch and experience. And I have an opinion - like they say, every one has one!
