Well I am back, finally retired (again!) and have had alot of changes. Peter lost his job at Biloxi Regional Hospital. You really dont want to know what I think of HMA. We talked to an attorney who said he had a good case since he was under contract, etc., but you know Peter, just went on down the road.
He started doing some Locums work at CCA maximum security prison in North Mississippi in Feb. and decided it was interesting. He said he was learning alot and he did not have to worry about insurance and patient no shows! He was still interviewing and got several job offers. One was in Florida, which I thought he always wanted to be. Anyway, told him that he had to make a decision as I just wanted him to be happy. They offered him a full time job in the Delta and he took it. Surprised me! He went through all of that effort(& money) to get his Florida licence.
And long story short, he we are in Clarksdale, MS. Almost like being in a 3rd world country in same respects. The worse part for me is no shopping! You have to make a list and travel at least an hour to do some descent shopping, etc.
I spent awhile remodeling the house. Peter calls it a flump house but I love it. It is very small and very old, but has character as does this town. THis was the best of the worst I guess, but it has air and heat and a washer and dryer and a nice yard. Very cheap, that was nice!
I had SKye for a month and I miss her so much but I am getting a few things done.
Meeting new people and working on alot of projects.
