Time to get back to where I came from. I have been a Lic. Chiro in Miss. since 1979 (telling my age, eh?) and I have lic. in 4 other states. I was practicing Chiro in S.C., but when we moved to Miss. a few years ago, I went into teaching massage & medical assisting. (I also teach online for health care professionals including Nurses and Docs.) I have a med. degree (and so does Peter)...but I figure one Lic. MD in the house was enough so I went back to Chiro after Med school and clinical rotation at LSU. Having the knowledge really helps me in understanding medical histories and diagnosis. It also helps having a practicing medical doc in the house!
I have been toying with the idea and working on a location, however, I think for the meantime and for a temporary location, I will be working out of my Elm Ave house...great location and the price is right for now. I am waiting on the Chamber incubation package...would like to do other things such as on hands classes, support groups and continuing educational classes. I have applied for a grant with Public Health to do some seminars so keep your fingers crossed.
